Delcam strengthens healthcare team in North America
Delcam has reinforced its strong commitment to the healthcare industry in North America with two recent appointments. Sheila Cullers has been appointed Dental Business Development Manager, while Maida Koller has been given the position of Orthotics Business Development Manager.
Sheila Cullers first became involved with Delcam in May 2000 when she joined Jerry Sanders in VIZION, the company’s reseller for the western USA. At VIZION, Sheila worked with Jerry to develop further Delcam’s sales in the region. They built up a customer base of hundreds of clients, including internationally-known names in the aerospace, mould and die, medical, dental, consumer products, athletic shoes and sports equipment industries.
Sheila became a Delcam employee following the acquisition of VIZION last year. In her new position, she will have full responsibility for developing business for the DentCAD design software and the DentMILL machining system in the region, including both OEM agreements within the industry and direct promotion to dental laboratories.
Maida Koller has been involved with both software and hardware technology since 1989. After working for a Delcam reseller for a number of years, she joined Delcam in 2001 and has been responsible since then for developing the company’s distribution channel for the Eastern United States.
Maida has been involved with Delcam’s orthotics business since the early days, working with the development team from Delcam, and with state-of-the-art hardware technology experts and a panel of experienced medical partners, in the creation of the OrthoModel and OrthoMill software, and the iQube foot scanner.
Commenting on the appointments, Glenn McMinn, President of Delcam North America said, "Delcam has made a strategic decision to become more active in the healthcare markets with new products, increased R & D and dedicated sales channels.
